TERMS AND CONDITIONS
payments/ deposits:
Non-refundable
- The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time. If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
- payment by: Credit card : American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard
All payments are non-refundable and service fee of 4% applies. No cash payments or pay on arrival is available to bookings.
cancellations:
Guests can change dates :
- Once for their booking, 7 days or more before check-in
- For the same or higher price as their original booking
- For the same booking conditions and room type
A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value will be retained
PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Any damage to the property or its contents caused by the guests will be charged to the guest whos name the booking has been made in. A security deposit will be required prior to arrival and / or credit card details required for this purpose.
Should you find the property damaged upon arrival, please advise our office immediately on 0448253469. Failure to do so will deem you to be totally responsible for the condition of the property on departure. Should we notice damage or additional cleaning requirements during our initial clean and inspection, we remain the right to retain the security deposit until we have received appropriate quotes from the relevant trades person / supplier. However this is to a maximum of 14 days from the date of departure.
LINEN:
All linen is supplied and the property professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. For any additional linen or cleaning, guests have the option to arrange at their own cost. Please contact our office to arrange.
WIFI
All properties have an internet connection
CHECK IN:
We promote a self -check in service for our properties with key code entry and / or keylock storage. Check in time is 2pm on the day of arrival. You will receive your personal check in details by email 24 hours prior to arrival for security reasons.
CHECK OUT:
Check out time is strictly 10am on the day of departure. There are luggage storage facilities in Airlie Beach for those on late flight departures. No storage is available onsite at the property.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance as it may protect you if you cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances.
CONDITIONS OF BAILMENT:
On confirming your booking you are agreeing to be bound by our rules of the house and conditions of bailment, this includes but is not limited to the following;
- Minimum age of 21 is required for all our properties.
- NO Schoolies.
- A breach of house rules includes; noisy or offensive behaviour, damage to property, improper or unseemly conduct or any act of omission which, in the opinion of the Property Manager, adversely affects or brings discredit upon the manager, company and /or owner.
- Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of neighbouring properties.
- The company, owner and Property Manager shall not be liable to any guest or invitee of a guest for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto or into the premises by the guest or invitee unless such loss, damage or destruction was the deliberate or negligent act of the company, owner or Property Manager or authorised agent/s.
- Without limiting the foregoing, personal property brought upon the premises shall include, money, jewellery, other personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises.
- The properties are not serviced during your stay. Additional Linen or cleaning service may be arranged at your cost.
- Property left in a state of excessive untidiness or where intentional damage has been caused will attract charges to rectify the situation, Currently cleaning will be charged to your account of $55 (inc GST) per hour for each additional hour or part thereof to return the property to its normal standard, plus replacement costs.
- In the event that your property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, alternative accommodation will be offered. If you choose not to accept the alternative the accommodation, a refund less the service fees will be given.
- No functions are to be held at our properties.
- The maximum number of guests staying is governed by local laws and fire & safety legislation. Any increase in the maximum number of guests may result in the guest being evicted immediately from the property and no refund will be given.
- I authorise Holiday in The Whitsundays to deduct monies from my credit card supplied should damage or abnormal cleaning be required as per the above conditions. You will be advised of the reason, the amount and the date which the amount will be charged.
- Any failure to pay for damages or cleaning will be referred to the local police and further legal action as may be required.
- Payment of deposit denotes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
